Limerick: One Year #RichardArmitage Blogiversary

One year ago today was my inaugural post

I’d just been to London and self-diagnosed

“Advanced Armitage Affliction”

A new kind of addiction

I was unrelentingly Richard Armitage- engrossed!

When I first started, I doubted it would last…

My passions bloom often, but tend to fade fast

What is it about Richard?

I still haven’t figured

Why it is that soooo many posts have amassed!

One hundred and fifty-plus posts I have written…

I guess it is obvious that I remain smitten

It’s been a blast

But what’s really unsurpassed

Are the new friends and the social network it’s given.

So thank you guys for reading and visiting this space…

It’s been rewarding and wonderful and can’t be replaced

I never imagined

When this blog was first fashioned

How many friends were out there in every far place!

Thanks, obscura! You know I had a Dolarhyde dream last week, but I think it was in the middle of the night. I woke up, thought about making notes, but was too sleepy. Then I forgot for a couple of days entirely, and now I only have the vaguest recollection of it. There was something absurd about it, (no surprise there) but I can’t remember the details. LOL

Yep, time has certainly flown! I can hardly believe it myself. WordPress reminded me, otherwise I’d have forgotten. =)

Thanks! I feel guilty because I celebrated by being entirely unfaithful to RA. Oh, well.

Thanks! It’s amazing how time does fly. Every Olympics, I always like to think forward and wonder what will have changed in my life by the next Olympics. Last Olympics were Jan/Feb 2014… I hadn’t even discovered RA (well, I’d seen 2 Hobbit movies, but wasn’t yet Afflicted!) A LOT has changed. And we’re not even to 2016. The mind boggles.

Happy blogiversary!!! How lovely you’re around and limericking and gifing and writing! I had a giggle at the idea you thought it wouldn’t last 🙂 glad it is going as strong or stronger than last year! Love the thought of such a grey place like London igniting such passions 😉
So whooooo were you unfaithful with? 😉 spill, spill!

OH! I’ve just found another tall, lean Russian spy to fall in total lust with, namely Illya Kuryakin in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (Armie Hammer just came on my radar. I’ve seen the movie 3 times now and am seriously thinking of going in for a 4th viewing. DAYUM!) And, well, Henry Cavill isn’t exactly hard on the eyes, either. I’m totally obsessed with that movie! LOL

I didn’t like Mission Impossible so much, Bond is another thing 🙂 I’ve always liked Bond and against all odds Craig turned out to be my favourite of all! I like Bourne a lot. But a smart spy with a swagger and tricks up his sleeves more than brawn is very appealing 🙂 I guess it is why i find i am liking Spooks a lot (into s 7 at the moment)

Ooooh! Is this your first time with Spooks? Did you watch previous seasons? I recently saw the latest Mission Impossible and enjoyed it. Hadn’t watched any of them except the first one, way back when! I like Bourne, too. U.N.C.L.E. is probably my favorite of all of the above.

I’ve seen MI 1 and 2 i think but stopped there as it was a bit same old same old. What you are saying recommends UNCLE, i’m getting suspicious of adverts and only trust word of mouth these days 😉 I thought Kingsmen would be great and it was sooo bad.
They had reruns of Spooks over the last few months on TV, lucky for me as no time to binge watch the entire series, so i saw the ones from S7 one at a time, missed the first one so need to go back, Loved everything about it, especially Lucas 🙂 But def my type of show. I have the DVDs but no time, i’m sort of 8eps short of RH as well but i think what stops me there is that i don’t want to see Guy die! Oh and haven’t bought Spooks 9 yet for the same reason, what everyone is saying is not making me want to see it 😉

Oh, yes. Well, S. 9 has a lot of detractors… but you’ll only know if you judge for yourself! I didn’t like the direction it took, not one bit! But that said, Armitage was still amazing, and I was still glued to the screen.

i probably will watch, but i’ll leave it for a while for when i run out of back catalogue 😉 Particularly as i don’t want to see him as a baddie again so soon 😉
