GIFFING Richard Armitage… Yahoo TV Interview GOLD!

yahoo1Was anyone else just completely charmed by the playfully expressive and cheerful Richard Armitage we saw on the Yahoo TV video the other day?

I did enjoy the verbal content, to be sure… but it was really the sight of Mr. Armitage in his sexy leather jacket, with collar askew and hair just a bit disheveled that really made an impression…

yahoo2He’s adorable! Yet I couldn’t help but giggle at the gifs as they emerged.

I really have to say that, while his answers were intelligent and showed no indication of a loss of mental acuity, he looks, well, just a bit tipsy at times.

yahoo3No, thank you, Mr. Armitage. For brightening my day with your demonstrative eyebrows, your forehead crinkles, and your bright eyes.

yahoo4Just… too cute for words.

What’s in that drink, anyway? *snickers*

yahoo5Awwwww. Such an attentive listener.

But it’s the start of the answer that makes me giggle out loud. OMG.

yahoo6Great question, Paris. Who knew he’d self-identify as House of Slytherin?

And with such a charming and conspiratorial air. =)

yahoo7Yep. He’s a-Slither’N.

yahoo8I think I may have missed his answer. I was a little preoccupied with the four lovely thumb strokes.

And that neck.

Oh, God. With all of him.

yahoo9But these facial expressions! Seriously, this interview hit paydirt! Here we have kissable lips, wild astonishment, manly arm-crossing, then a brief flash of tongue… Hot Damn!

Ovarian overload. Seriously.

yahoo10How engaged was he? I literally want to just… jump him. In a good way.

Oh, don’t look so shocked, Mr. Armitage.  LOL

yahoo11And finally, could we please present him with colorful wheels of live stream fortune on a regular basis?

Because that’s just Richard Armitage GOLD.

This interview made up for a lot of those repetitive BSt interviews in September and October.

Did it? I confess I missed all of them. But this one was well worth the time. I watched it more than once. =)

He was fine, but it was a lot like ITS, just the same thing over and over again (the Hobbit interviews usually always had a nugget that made it worthwhile, but the BSt ones were not so playful). This — on the other hand — I think this is already on its way to becoming a fan favorite. 🙂

I can’t think of another one that made me grin foolishly so many times, so yeah, fan fave. =)

Cinemaxx 2012 with Martin Freeman is a lot like this one — but it was only a few minutes. This was 20!!

Oh, yes. That one was very entertaining. Remember stumbling onto it and wishing Martin Freeman was available to spur Richard on more often. =)

And btw, your commentary is GOLD, too. I had another great laugh, just reading that.
Slytherin? Where does he get that from? I wonder whether he just didn’t know the name of any other house and hence settled for that. Mr Goody-Goody looks more like a Ravenclaw – creative and witty. But yeah, the slithering hips are a thing of beauty.

Yeah that answer surprised me! Honestly given his kind of goofy demeanor I was thinking Hufflepuff for a moment there… but no, the interviewer provided all the names, and he thought about it before landing upon Slytherin… now we need a follow-up interview! Pronto!

I was slightly torn between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, but I think he definitely is not bumbly enough for Hufflepuff…
          Definitely need that followed up…

LOL… perhaps he’s the rare house of SlytherPuff. I’m fairly sure a Ravenclaw wouldn’t gape at the wheel in such a fashion… =)

Just looked again at that gif. He doesn’t look quite convinced of Slytherin himself 😂. He kind of frowns.
          Ah, those important questions…

Huh, I would have picked Slytherin for him — I was just surprised that he admitted it.

He certainly has a bit of a devilish streak… but why would you pick Slytherin for him?

I think he’s both competitive and ambitious. I think he’s not heroic (Gryffindor) and while he’s hardworking, I don’t see him having that whole “I don’t have any other qualities beyond being a nice person” vibe (Hufflepuff). I also don’t think he’s particularly brainy (Ravenclaw).

Yeah, he is! But he’s a little more goofy than your average Slytherin. LOL

IDK, maybe it all depends on one’s tulpa ;-). Cunning and leadership are just not what I associate with him.

Oh thank you thank you thank you for gifing these!! Now i can come back and look at him any time i need.. which is often! like real often!
This was sooo good, the answer, the faces, the wriggles, the smiles, the eyes… the whooole breathtaking package. I had to watch it at home as it would be too much drooling for public consumption. Just perfect!
I do think the poor bugger is catching mild cold and is experiencing very dry throat and that’s why he had to drink so much and kept swallowing. Maybe it was the col air in the morning that made it a tad worse. He still looks gorrrgeous!! Oh i’m not sure about Slytherin, but then again Severus was one too and he was a really good egg in the end.
I was so envious of him seeing his play with his nephew! Those tickets are like gold dust 🙂
But yeah i pretty much wanted to crawl into the screen and onto his lap 🙂 yum

I know… If I could pick one time I’d really like to launch myself in his direction, it might just be this interview. Though that might ruin it for everyone else. *snickers*. You’ve brought up a good point though… maybe he was just the smallest bit loopy from cold medications!

Welcome, Jane. Oh, trust me- it was my pleasure! LOL. Who could resist? The only difficulty was in picking which moments to gif. You’re right… a delightful interview through and through. It’s great when there are live questions coming at him from all quarters… he can’t predict the answers, and we all reap the rewards! =)

Considering the number of times he swallowed and how many times he sipped that drink – I too came to the conclusion that he had either a very dry or sore throat. It was quite pronounced. So much fun to watch though and I’ve done so quite a few times! His expressions are just priceless! Gold indeed!! 😀

Yes- hope he’s not getting sick (like costar Zoe!)… that would be really sad running into the final weekend. But then again, would he come across as so cheerful and funny if he wasn’t feeling well? We need more interviews like this, for sure. And yes, the expressions on his face and the gestures and body language- I think the comedy he’s been doing has infiltrated his whole system… =)
